4. How ScholarMinds Uses Your Content  

Uploaded materials are used to:

  • Configure your public and private retrieval-based AI assistants.

  • Respond to academic queries with accurate references.

  • Enhance academic engagement—not replace it.

Your uploaded materials:

  • Remain yours. You retain all rights.

  • Are never used to train general-purpose large language models.

  • Are not shared or resold.

  • Can be removed by you at any time.

5. Infringement and Takedown Process  

ScholarMinds responds promptly to valid copyright concerns.

If you believe your work has been used improperly, submit a written notice including:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work(s) you believe to have been infringed.
  2. A description of the infringing material and its location on the platform, including, if applicable, the URL.
  3. Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. The following statements:
    • “I have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material described above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”

    • “The information in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner.”
